Kerala PSC notified UPSA (Upper Primary School Assistant) examination 2014.It will be district wise recruitment to the UPSA vacancies in the various UP schools in 14 districts of Kerala. Kerala PSC will select the candidates for the posts by direct appointment through written test. The applicants should pass TTC or B Ed Examination to apply for the Kerala PSC UPSA test 2014.

UPSA Vacancies in Kerala:
There are number of vacancies were calculated by Public Service Commission in the following districts.
Trivandrum, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alapuzha, Kottayam, Idukky, Eranakulam, Thrissur, Palakhad, Malapuram, Kozhikode, Waynad, Kannur, Kasargode.
UPSA Reservation for handicapped persons.
According to the gazetted order from the Kerala Government (GO(p) 1/13/SJD), 3% of the vacancies in UPSA post had reserved for the disabled persons ( Loco motor disability cerebral palsy, blindness/partial blindness).
Age limit for UPSA application:
18-40. Applicants should born in between 2-1-1074 and 1-1-1996 (including both days). The backward categories will get reservation.
UPSA Qualification to apply:
1) A pass in SSLC examination conducted by examination commissioner of Kerala government or equivalent.
OR
A pass in Pre Degree conducted by any University in Kerala
OR
A Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Kerala Higher Secondary Board.
2) A pass in TTC Examination or Any Deggre with B ED / BTLT
NB: The applicats should study Malayalam language in SSLC either in PART 1 or in PART 2.
UPSA written test:
UPSA Examination may not be an OMR test. It may conduct in a different way by Kerala PSC. So candidates should follow the instructions in the UPSA question booklet while answering.
