SET February 2014 Result

The Kerala high court ordered to publish the result of SET examination conducted in 2014 February 2.It was stayed by the court due to the request of NSS and a student to examine the matter of reservation marks for backward categories. But high court had rejected the request and considered request of another candidate to publish the SET result as soon as possible. Justice A Muhammad Mustaq had ordered this to the LBS centre Director to publish the Kerala SET result within one month. Due to this stay many candidates could not apply for the guest lecturers of various new plus two batches and schools. One chance for writing the State Eligibility Test had lost by many candidates.

According to the new mark system the general category should attain 50% aggregate mark. It is 45 5 for the OBC applicants, 40% for the SC/ST and the PH candidates. The judge told that this new criteria of mark is to ensure the equality for all people. Now the LBS centre office is very busy with the procedures to publish the SET result immediately.

LBS centre authority also gives this information to submit the necessary certificates to show the right for mark reservation within 2014 October 18.The OBC candidates shall produce the non creamy layer certificate, the SC/ST applicants shall submit the caste certificate and the physically handicapped candidates shall submit the medical certificate to prove they are handicapped. The candidates who had been already submit these certificates need not produce them again.

This high court order is a relief for many candidates who are waiting for the State Eligibility Test (SET) from 2014 February. This is also a happy news for the people who are expecting a new notification of SET. There is a chance to conduct the next SET in February 2015. The new notification may come in December 2014.
