Kerala PSC Examination Syllabus: Malayalam Compulsory

Kerala Public Service Commission decided to include Malayalam as compulsory subject for all examinations for the Kerala government jobs. Administrative language in Kerala is the mother tongue - Malayalam. So PSC took this good decision. New decision will be practical from coming Chingam 1. 

According to the government order of 2000, February 7, by former chief secretary M.Mohankumar, all the KPSC exams should conduct with a compulsory Malayalam paper with the consideration for minorities. This order came before 17 years ago. 

Many states in India like Gujarat and Maharashtra conducting even the main examinations in their mother tongue. In Kerala, 97% of total people talking Malayalam. So, as per expert's words, this new decision of KPSC to include Malayalam in PSC tests is very good one.
